On 1 November 2022, NLD GVT said administrators of trusts, mutual funds, similar structures must register ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) in register as of 1 November.

• UBO register for trusts and similar legal structures provides more transparency.
• Only the trustee of a trust, or person with comparable position in a similar legal construction as a trustee, can register UBOs; trustee is also a UBO of the trust.
• Registration via dedicated website from 1 November 2022 until 1 February 2023 at the latest.
