Allegations
- From about October 2018 to February 2021, Goldman Sachs reported 17,600 positions in 23,500 instances with incorrect effective date, due to technological system logic issue.
- Impacted Large Options Position Report (LOPR) reporting of as-of positions, effective date on positions when it received multiple as-of positions in the same option series.
Violations, Settlement
- GS found to have violated CBOE BZX Rule 18.10, Reports Related to Position Limits.
- Goldman consented to a censure and a monetary fine in the amount of $125,000.
