On 22 October 2018, the SFC announced two new appointments to the Takeovers-related committees.
- Mr Tim Lui Tim-leung, Chairman of the SFC, has been appointed as a member of the Nominations Committee.
- Mr Edward Cheng Wai-sun, a Non-Executive Director of the SFC, has been appointed as a member of the Takeovers and Mergers Panel and Takeovers Appeal Committee.
