On 11 November 2022, UK CMA published responses from NEC Software Solutions (NECSWS) and SSS Public Safety (SSS) to provisional findings and possible remedies.
- NECSWS did not agree with UK CMA's current view that a full divestment of SSS is the only potential effective remedy, stating it is unreasonable and inconsistent with CMA's stated guidance that it will select least costly and intrusive remedy that is effective.
- SSS stated that full divestment of SSS is highly disproportionate compared to limited adverse effects identified in provisional findings and would be damaging for customers.
- UK CMA also published NECSWS and SSS responses to the provisional findings.
- The statutory deadline for UK CMA's final decision remains 21 December 2022.
