On 18 August 2025, AST Takeover Panel has declined to conduct proceedings on an application dated 9 August 2025 from betr in relation to the affairs of PointsBet.

• AST Takeover Panel considered that the current commercial status, and timing, of MIXI offer and the betr bid allowed PointsBet shareholders an opportunity to consider the offers.
• AST Takeover Panel concluded there was no reasonable prospect that it would make a declaration of unacceptable circumstances, and declined to conduct proceedings.
