The Colombo Stock Exchange (“CSE”) has adopted rules relating to regulated short selling (“RSS”) through stock borrowing and lending rules (“SBL”). Covered short selling of eligible securities in accordance with the RSS rules will be permitted, effective from 6 November 2023.
