On 6 November 2024, the FSC announced the revised lower initial disclosure threshold for net short selling will be effective from 1 December 2024.
- Confirmed net short selling disclosures should be made on the second business day from the first business day after the effective date, which is the 4 December 2024
- Revised initial disclosure threshold for new short selling will be .01% (excluding those less than KRW100m) or KRW 1b or more of total issuance volume
