On 08 June, the Netherlands announced its plan to expand the FDI screening additional technologies.
The 6 technologies are:
- biotechnology (partly, e.g. stem cell technology and seed breeding);
- artificial intelligence (AI);
- advanced materials;
- nanotechnology;
- sensor and navigation technology;
- nuclear technology for medical use.
This expansion is set to become effective on 1 January 2027.
