On 25 May 2021, BaFin imposed an administrative fine amounting to 24,000 euros on Epigenomics AG.
The sanction related to a breach of section 26a (1) sentence 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz – WpHG) old version. Epigenomics AG failed to publish the total number of voting rights tied to shareholding disclosure within the prescribed period.
