On 25 February 2020, SIN MAS amended derivatives contracts reporting rules.
- Setting out reporting requirements for OTC counterparties for OTC derivatives.
Amendments
- Sections deleted in item 1 of part I of the first schedule to the securities and futures (reporting of derivatives contracts) regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 668/2013).
- Deleted “and is entered into before 1 April 2020” in the third column of the above.
- Deleted section in third column where uncleared contract not electronically confirmed or entered into after 1 April 2020 must be reported to UTI to agree with counterparty.
Effectiveness
- Changes come into effect on the same day.
