U.S. – SEC Plans to Revisit 13f2 Short Selling Rule

The SEC has added to its October Agenda the proposals for amendments to 13f-2 and Form SHO.

Background:

• Short Selling rule 13f-2 and Form SHO were delayed by the SEC as a result of the Fifth Circuit Court.
• Current effective date is 2 January 2028.
